We provide a four day teacher training course for primary and secondary school teachers in outdoor experiential learning. The course introduces teachers to the aims and techniques of Forest School and other experiential pedagogies, and ways to increase children’s understanding and appreciation of nature, the environment and sustainability. The course is designed to enable teachers and schools to run their own outdoor learning programmes. This course was developed in 2019/20 with funding from DEFRA and the Department for Education.
